Carissa Bickling

After working with our families as both a Community Connections Manager and a Ministry Director, Carissa recently moved into the role of Development Director. She will be listening to and growing relationships with our current donors and is eager to hear your PIH story. She will also get to know those who haven’t yet given financial support to understand better their passions and connection to our ministry.

Carissa graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (go cru!) with a bachelor’s degree in social work and soon after completed her master’s through Texas State University. She started her career with the Local Mental Health Authority in Williamson County, working with children and families navigating tough times. Through that work the Lord has grown her passion to serve the community in which she lives.

Carissa and her husband, Kevin, enjoying spending time with their baby girl. When not working, you can find her traveling, playing board games, spending time outside, or trying out a local coffee shop.
