Social isolation and relational poverty are growing and alarming trends in our communities.

Hidden in the shadows are people struggling to thrive because they have limited social support networks. In some cases, they do not know anyone they can call upon for help or connection.

This isolation keeps many of our neighbors in a cycle of financial crisis, health struggles, depression, and dilapidated living conditions.

However, there are solutions! Partners in Hope works with YOU, our neighbor, to create a culture of connection and hope through the power of relational ministry.

2026 Trivia Night & Fundraiser Dinner-Save the Date!

Back by Popular Demand, Trivia Night! Our annual Fall Fundraiser Dinner will be on Sunday, October 25 at 4:00 pm (note earlier starting time), returning to the beautiful Moon Flower Hill Event Center near 2222/620. Our theme is No One’s Story is Trivial, so get ready to engage in story-related trivia and to learn how PIH becomes a positive chapter in the lives of those we serve. Our Story

Unexpected Connections is about the epidemic of social isolation, the redemptive power of relationships, and God’s perfect timing. In this book, Author Matt Peacock details how the Lord led him and his missions-focused team on a fascinating journey to address this growing problem in central Texas. But there was a big twist. No one could have predicted the actual destination.

We are excited to announce that Unexpected Connections recently received two awards! It was recognized as a SILVER WINNER in the Nonfiction Book Awards sponsored by the Nonfiction Authors Association. This competition honors books that are “well-written and beautifully produced.”

It was also honored with a BRONZE MEDAL in the 2021 Illumination Book Awards. With the motto, “Shining a Light on Exemplary Christian Books,” the Illumination Book Awards are designed to honor the year’s best new titles written and published with a Christian worldview.
