Social isolation and relational poverty are growing and alarming trends in our communities.

Hidden in the shadows are people struggling to thrive because they have limited social support networks. In some cases, they do not know anyone they can call upon for help or connection.

This isolation keeps many of our neighbors in a cycle of financial crisis, health struggles, depression, and dilapidated living conditions.

However, there are solutions! Partners in Hope works with YOU, our neighbor, to create a culture of connection and hope through the power of relational ministry.

Save the Date! 2026 Ice Cream Appreciation Social

We had such a blast last year we want to celebrate YOU again! This is open to all of our supporters and is a chance to relax, meet some new people, get a short update on YOUR  impact in our communities, appreciate some sweet volunteers, but most importantly, eat some delicious ice cream! Bring a friend who might want to learn more about PIH.

Exciting Staff Changes at PIH!

Rebecca Williams has decided to take a role in the mission field and will be leaving at the end of March. We are excited to have Dominique Sam join our team as the new Community Connections Manager for Lake Travis/Spicewood on March 1! Additionally, Carissa Bickling is now the Development Director for PIH. Ronne Rock will step into her role as Ministry Director for Lake Travis/Spicewood on March 23. Our Story

Unexpected Connections is about the epidemic of social isolation, the redemptive power of relationships, and God’s perfect timing. In this book, Author Matt Peacock details how the Lord led him and his missions-focused team on a fascinating journey to address this growing problem in central Texas. But there was a big twist. No one could have predicted the actual destination.

We are excited to announce that Unexpected Connections recently received two awards! It was recognized as a SILVER WINNER in the Nonfiction Book Awards sponsored by the Nonfiction Authors Association. This competition honors books that are “well-written and beautifully produced.”

It was also honored with a BRONZE MEDAL in the 2021 Illumination Book Awards. With the motto, “Shining a Light on Exemplary Christian Books,” the Illumination Book Awards are designed to honor the year’s best new titles written and published with a Christian worldview.
