SERVE & GROW
We invite you to volunteer with us! We need servant-hearted people who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and helping where needed. Opportunities include workdays, meal deliveries, calls and visitations, helping our families connect to services and community, fundraising, special events, prayer team, and much more.
You can serve in the Lake Travis/Spicewood area, the Cedar Park/Leander area, or both. Questions? Contact us and we’ll find a place for your gifts and talents!
Fill out the below form to let us know more about you!

COMMUNITY WORKDAYS
Join with community volunteers, youth organizations, and church members to serve at a neighbor’s home. You will help with minor home repairs, yard maintenance, and debris collection/disposal. While it might look like these workdays are task-oriented (and we do get a lot done!), the true purpose of our efforts is to walk alongside others while providing hope and demonstrating God’s love.
Lake Travis/Spicewood Workdays are usually the third Saturday of the month, while Cedar Park/Leander Workdays are usually the fourth Saturday. Sign up and invite your family, friends, church group, coworkers, or service organization members to join you.
MEAL DELIVERY
Volunteer to deliver hot meals or groceries and engage in brief, but meaningful conversation with neighbors who need connection.
FELLOWSHIP & DISCIPLESHIP GATHERINGS
Participate in a monthly fellowship event (usually supper on Sundays) that brings together Partners in Hope families and volunteers with members of local churches and the community. We also gather with our families for what we call Coffee Connections several times a month for a devotional and casual conversation. These gatherings are always a great time of fellowship and fun!
PERSONAL VISITS/WALKING PARTNERS
Reach out to neighbors with a quick phone conversation or front-porch visit to share encouragement and perhaps a prayer. Or for deeper relationship development, consider becoming a Walking Partner. These volunteers are paired with one of the individuals we serve. Volunteers will receive training and ongoing support for both of these roles.
PRIVATE SERVING EVENTS
Gather with your friends from church groups, clubs, sports teams, or companies to serve together and connect with isolated individuals and families in our service communities. These personalized partnership events (such as workdays) create meaningful experiences for volunteers and their neighbors in need.
RELATIONAL MINISTRY TRAININGS
PIH offers trainings with engaging curriculum to help you better walk alongside those who need to know they are not alone. Check our events page or newsletter for the most recent offerings. Is your church or small group interested in hosting a volunteer training? Contact [email protected] for more information.
PIH PRAYER TEAM
Since its inception, Partner in Hope has been built on a foundation of prayer. We have a Hope Angels Prayer Team whose members pray for us on a regular basis. We are always looking for more prayer warriors! If you are interested in receiving a monthly list of current celebrations and concerns, contact us and we’ll get you on our team.
We strongly encourage all our volunteers to read “7 Practices of Highly Helpful Volunteers” to learn more about how Partners in Hope serves others through these best practices.
